Interesting food of the month- Paper Steamboat
If some of you have no idea what is a steamboat, i am sure this latest discovery of Paper steamboat will baffle you even further.:)
Not sure whether this dining style exisits in other ctys, but a steamboat is something like a hotpot, where you have a whole pot of boiling soup cooked continously by a portable stove in front of you, normally shared by many pple, and you put meat and vegetables of your choice into it,when cooked you would scoop it up onto your bowl and devour it. The crux of successful steamboat is the soup base and the fresh meat and veg that are thrown in to make the yummy soup in the end.
Well me and my friends discovered this restaurant in town, called Mushroom Pot where they used this new technology of cooking food in waxed paper, imported from Japan. Its good yummy food, so another new discovery for food.
