On the Reading scene:
Read 2 cool books that I have wanting to read since my times in Stockholm. One of them is High Fidelity which I bought as a present for Dimitris, upon recommendation from Rajat the widely read Indian in our group and yet another is the Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy another recommendation, apparently all the Indians in AIESEC strongly recommend this book, so that's me catching up on my reading
I guess High Fidelity by Nick Hornby is funny for anyone has had past relationships, as its about this guy with a mid life crisis in his 30s, and decided to call up the list of his ex girlfriends, to know
whats his problem, why he cant be happy and find someone afterall guess its more of a guy book, but it does give you one of those "been there, done that" smiles and laughter during the reading. They made a movie out of the book starring Jon Cusack.
For the Hitchhiker guide's to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, there is supposed to be a trilogy, but I only read the 1st book. Its like a science fiction aka Star Wars kinda way but much more light hearted and really funny, many of a times, you go Huh? When it blows your imagination away with descriptions of an alien race like Zaphod Beeblebrox, a two headed, three armed, ex hippie, president of the galaxy etc. But my favourite part of the book is actually the introduction of Bablefish, it's a fish that you put into your ear, which translates thousands of language for you, cool eh, funny though when I was in Stockholm, my boss and colleagues were talking about it and there are actually website search engines named Bablefish. So if you want to know why a towel is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have, check this book out.
Anyone has other cool fiction or non fiction books to recommend, do tell me.
