Rajat Maaker in Town!

Was sooo good to see Rajat again after our brief farewell at Elux in Sweden, he arrived in Singapore yday in the wee hours of 4.40am. He was actually meant to come on the weekend before, but due to visa issues yday was all he got. Krishna (his 2 time successor from AIESEC in India days, currently a trainee in DHL Sipo) and I then arranged to wake up real early and pick him up at the airport. Well another thing was I drove for the 1st time since I came back to SG in my dad's car, a big CITRON which I am not too comfy of driving of course. Anyways seems that Mr Maaker didnt have a gd flight either, as he only caught 20mins of sleep of the 6hr flight. Anyways we went for morning brunch at this 24hr Hong Kong cafe then dropped Krishna for work before heading to Chinatown for some tourisy things. Unfortunately it happened to rain like pouring rain 4 times yday, and most of the festivities and stalls are closed yday morning, pity pity. And haaaa my shopping bug seemed to either have rubbed off on Rajat or Singapore Sales are really THAT gd that he ended up buying lots of stuff as well. We went Boat Quay for chilli crab lunch with Krishna by the waters then with my slippers and pants drenched from the rain, of course we went to say Hi to pple in Electrolux in Singapore :P Rajat's ex boss from stlm has now been stationed in Singapore, so would like to meet him before he flies to Sydney for work. No doubt I feel pretty weird dressed so casually meeting my future would be colleagues and bosses ( crossing my fingers) since I have been to the office 2wice all decked out in suit and in black, and pls, I do look very gd in business clothes, ok enuff about me. In short both of us are tired and its gd cooling but rainy weather at the same time, so we are both taking it easy, otherwise as he said, we could have covered much more. Anyways heres wishing him all the best to his new life in Sydney and when he transits back here in Aug, I will be waiting.
