Charlie and the Chocolate factory
Kids of my era would definately have read Roald Dahl's books which include best sellers like: The Witches, Boy, Going Solo etc. So no wonder all the twenties- something are all excited when the movie of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory came out and who else better to act Willy Wonker than the star of all Tim Burton's movies than Johnny Depp !!!! I love this movie after catching it last night, further confirms that I love Tim Burton's movies which includes Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Big Fish, Sleepy Hollow etc! ( other than Mars Attack, has to be one of the worst movie I watched, what a waste of time!). His movies are so creative, so full of colour, and from the way they are shot, I always feel like I am back being a child, as a grand adventure unfolds in front of me!!!
Synopsis:
"Charlie Bucket, a boy from an impoverished family under the shadow of a giant chocolate factory, wins a candy bar contest and is given a tour, along with four other children, of the amazing factory run by the eccentric Willy Wonka and his staff of Oompa-Loompas"
From chocolate waterfalls in the factory, glass elevators that fly sideway, teleported chocolate bar that you can just take from the television screen to eat, chewing gum that gives you the nutrients of 3 meals: you can taste potroast, soup and BLUEBERRY muffin, whipped cream is done by whipping the cow!...of course the star of the show I feel is the tribe of the "Oompa Loompas" where these dwarf like humans had the exact SAME FACE, and this serious look while they dance in this weird sequence with moral teachings as the lyrics of the song, as each of the kids are involved in some kind of an " accident" because of their misbehaviour :)

the imagination is endless :)
PS:Little surprise that I prefer Harry Potter's movies over Lord of the rings :)

Regarding your "PS"... you don't need to provide public proof to my hypothesis that you are retarded. :)
