Finality is da theme of da late

Not quite sure on where to start. work has been pretty hectic/bz this past week, out of the ordinary since i normally would leave at 6pm on the dot, its been 8 plus lately. Snapshot on things happening on my plate lately:

Farewellssssss
Anyways been caught up with the farewells of some of my close friends, this time yes finally Singaporeans somewhat. My junior college friends actually, Huiling is leaving for londonon mon for a work stint with her company and Xinying is flying off to Dubai to join her hubby, being posted there. So the gang of us 4, has reduced to 2 and my parting sentence to Ruoxia everytime now is " Dont get married ah.." haha

Marriages and Babies
Been hanging out with "married" girlfriends lately, well one is my insurance agent and i have known her and her hubby since 18, so was no surprise when they finally got hitched and to be the 1st couple that i know as friends that married. And Xinying who is by law married to her hubby (ROMED) though they havent threw the chinese wedding dinner, just found out that they have a little one coming along the way, was a surprise to everyone esp the parents i guess...its a helluv of a committement and responsibility to have a kid, raise them etc..really fastforward track for me..but am really happy for her, and would see xy junior next year then, soon will be calling me Auntie hahaha oh god....

Think i am starting to be at the stage where very soon my friends will get married one by one, receiving all the "pink" bombs aka chinese wedding invitations. Not stressed no, nothing yet from the famous social pressure, but cant help but feel genuinely happy for my friends who have found "the one" for them :)

Nomad nomore
I have been settling down, readjusting back to my life here in Singapore, investing my time and money, savings, buying insurance, thinking of financial investments, u know the kind of stuff that "grown-ups" do.Was chatting with Vivianne over emails and realised that sure travelling and working overseas for a time period still sounds very exciting and appealing to me, but now having permanent things around me for a change gives me the stability, peace
and satisfaction which i took for granted before. Its nice to see ROI ( Returns on Investment) especially on pple who matter to you and you to them.;)
