Guess

I am certified of being a professional durian opener after cracking 10 durians for the 1st time ever tonight as my family had a durian feast.Abeit a clumsy one, using my barehands and a scissors unlike the uncles you see along Geylang who uses big choppers and finish slicing and peeling open the shells for the fruits in 3 swift motions. Ha yat!
Some pple love it, some pple (read caucasians :P) hate it.
As one of my ex Canadian trainee said before, " Durian is like Blue Cheese, its an accquired taste" Hear yee! And she loves it.:)

I just tried blue cheese on pizza last night...hmm maybe I should try durian on pizza next ;p heehee

yeah yeah..anyways a cool trick to share if you would be eating a durian pretty soon... The trick to get the everlasting durian smell out of your fingers ( which stay no matter how much soap u put into it) is to take one of the durian shell, put it under running tap water with water falling through the white insides of the shell, and miracleously your fingers do not STINK any more..
