I just knew it!

I knew that the clear turquoise waters, white sandy beaches and colourful fishes lying just beneath the waters is going to make me RELAX. And it did just that, just as I expected. :)

Have to say Redang has one of the most beautiful beach/waters that I have seen, a serious contender with the beaches on Greek isles. Why? Its the colour of the water, no stony beaches but pure white sinking sand.Magnificent magnificent turquoise and transparent waters, that you thought could only happen through adobe photoshoping in postcards.You can wade into the water up to waist-high and still see your twinkling toes and the fishes swimming around them.:) Its so beautiful.

Didnt swallow too much of sea-water when I went snorkelling this time round, bet the fishes were relieved. Pretty impressed by the other world- ze water world, while the others were hoping to catch a view of sharks, I was wondering if I could see mermaids instead, like Ariel from The Little Mermaid, one of my fav cartoons evidently. Sorry, no mermaids, but caught sight of Nemo instead, while Nemo is all friendly in the movie, the one I said looked pretty cross when we were near his home, but its so cute to see a tiny orange stripped fish pissed off hehe.

Then again, it was pretty saddening to see that 40% of the coral reef has now been wiped out due to natural causes or human plunder, in some parts,there were only shades of grey instead of greenish/ red coral, and you feel that you have stumbled upon a dead city, where only silence surrounds.


We took several underwater shots, so while awaiting for them to be developed, here's how it looks on-land. Beautiful, plain beautiful.
