Worktrip to Shanghai wasn't that all fun and exciting that I would have imagined.
- Worked on Sat and Sun = not much shopping and eating time
- Average time of departure from the office everyday is 10-11pm
- Stressed out most of the time with numbers not balancing !!!!
- Its getting cold there with strong winds ( where is my winter jacket?)
- Forgot about the nicey spitting habits of Chinese pple.. most of my cab drivers even opened their doors during the course of the journey to do their stuff.....Ewwwwwwww
- Very nearly got run over by cars even when i was crossing the zebra crossing, the cars do NOT slow down, in fact they speed up! Wupeee! One pedestrian down, how many have you got?
Though it is a learning experience afterall and on the plus side, i got to hang out with cool friends and taste some really great food at affordable prices!
Thanks to Tee whom I hanged out with almost every other day as Adam concludes, and brought me to this really local xiaolongbao place, where we waited for 45mins among pushy Shanghainese locals who have no eye for the law/queues.
Vanessa who hosted me and ceci in Jan this year, introduced me to Kanas and being my yummy food guide and such a funny person to be around :)

Rohit and Devrim for dinner/drinks, oh yeah, who introduced me to this dutch guy called Niek who really changed my 1st impression of him so drastically. Evgenia, Carlos the purchasing group in Elux and Shirley who made my long hours in office more enjoyable.:)
Concluded that I would never think a business trip is fun anymore....i want a real holiday.....:)
