Its proven, we walk the fastest....

life is

about finding the right shoe at the moment, feeling all excited over it, trying it on a few times, to assure yourself that this shoe fits well, is comfortable and hey it looks nice on you.

Then you buy the shoe, more often than not, realise that shoe is not as comfortable as when you bought it. Its too painful at the toes, the arch of the heel and worse of all, the back of that freaking shoe scraps against the back of skin of your foot and you bleed and need a band-it. Either you get used to it, and the pain no longer bothers you or you bring it to the cobblers to do something abt it, or buy those diy stickers to remedy it, or just throw that freaking shoe right into the bin.

amazing how much bs i manage to write about this nice pair of shoes i bought last nite. Alas its not easy for me to find shoes ( let my frens tell u) and when I buy I buy alot and am truely happy when I make that buy to make a random posting. :)

Hump Ahead :)

Mention Hump ahead ( a sign on singapore roads, which tells you that there is a hump ahead hence pls slow down or otherwise known as speedbreaker) and this dude will break out in hilarious, uncontrollable laughter that I sometimes think for a sec that he would go into spasms:)

Have been spending great time with him for the past 3 weeks +( gosh he seems to be almost a 1 mth trainee) , almost hanging out with him every other nite, to find cool places to chill and listen to live music most of the time actually. Had a great time and rediscovering a new friendship with Mr Chanda, hope we meet up real soon in Year 2007 :)

Basic Jewellery Course Lesson 1

Refreshing to do something artsy and creative again, its like back in sch for our arts and crafts course. :) Using pilers and beads, twisting and turning those stubborn and small wires and pins, we walked off with a necklace and a pair of earrings from our own design at the end, really cool.

Apparently Emily Hill, has other interesting courses like wire sculpture, creative glass where they have a kil to burn the textures and designs on etc. Will definately explore further.

Street Children of Kabul, Afghanistan

I am CPR-certified

With aching shoulders, strained arms and thighs and a bruise on my knee...I am officially CPR certified. :) Never knew pumping into a mannequin's chest and giving 2 ventilations every 30 compressions for 5 cycles in 2 mins can be so tiring. Maybe i am just plain unfit.

Anyways the mannequin is super cool, every compression you make, the right spot, the depth of your compression, if you let go fully, the no of counts, the extent of your ventilation etc all can be measured with the ember and green light going off - as the passing std. I had to do a theory and pratical test on the same day that I was given the notes and hands on with Resusci Anne,(interesting read btw) within those 8 hrs, have to say glad that I made it with the rest of the class.

To finish something that I set out to do 1 year ago, man I have to say I took too long a time.

My weakness

Kinda came to realisation that all my life, I have a certain weakness for "pretty" boys otherwise to my defination, gay-looking guys, who talk alot and have a sense of humour judging by the kind of guys I date or am attracted to. Ha.

No wonder I think Peter Petrelli of Heroes is hot Or Jake Gyllenhall from Brokeback Mountain, Takashi Kaneshiro, and Daniel Wu ;) Of course they only fulfill the pretty boy part of the equation.
